der Go-Klub in Wien

About the Go7 club

The Go7 in Vienna is one of Europe's most spacious Go clubs. It is the official club of the Austrian Go Association and is open to all Go players. We have plenty of Go boards and stones for casual play; furthermore we also offer courses, tournaments, discussions and an extensive reference library.

In the Go7 club we have a sizable reference library of Go books and magazines in English, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. You can freely peruse the library in the Go7.

There is also an area where we sell Go books, magazines, boards, stones and accessories.

The large main playing room is air-conditioned and thus an ideal way to escape the summer heat. The main room and most side rooms are strictly non-smoking, but there is a well-ventilated room for smokers as well.

Membership fee

For each visit, you just pay € 2,- and thereby become a member of the Go7 club. That's all. This fee helps us to cover the running costs.

Of course you can test the Go7 for free before deciding to become a member. We are looking forward to every visitor!

Drinks and snacks are available at very favourable prices, e.g., soft drinks (0,35 l or 0,5 l bottle) for 1.30 €; sweets for 0,80 €. However, unlike in cafes, in the Go7 you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to.

The Kasu club has its club evening in the Go7 as well.
